A comission for CadetKratt to accompany a STAR TREK fanfic he's planning that features a descendant of his character,Khalfani. The story takes place after the death of Capt. Kirk.....Key Starfleet personel meet on the planet Canis for the start of peace talks between the Canians and their enemies,the Catians. Captain Sulu introduces his new First Officer Khalfani, a Canian of Royal blood,to Captain Spock,Starfleet Surgeon General McCoy,and,unfortunately for Khalfani,Dr. McCoy's assistant, Lt. M'Raala...a Catian!! btw, M'Raala is the Daughter of Lt. M'Ress from the animated TREK series.....STAR TREK and it's characters c. 1966-2007 Paramount Pictures,inc.-all rights reserved. Khalfani belongs to CadetKratt,Lt. M'Raala created by me for CadetKratt.

I love it! Though I am sorta biased. I'm a Trekkie, and I like the catgirls.

The late 23rd c. uniforms are spot on even the departmental colors are right. I'm a nerd, I know. I was even squinting to see if the rank insignia were correct. :p

Fun mix.. and I second the thought of every scifi universe having some cat, dog, otter, etc lifeforms. Its just what we wish we had here, grin. And I couldnt help but notice the hung statue in the background.. sheesh

Ive since seen alot of canian and ferian art from that animated episode. I wish theyd actually showed up in an episode, youd think Star Trek coulda bent the rules a little to do a canid species, it woulda rocked! And yeah, a littel pridefull, heh... I just noticed the statue in the back and I was like, um, dang? Grin
